My video has a few tips and tricks that are helping me make masks for friends, family, and local medical facilities.

- Cutting tip: know what sizes you need so that you can cut everything you need the first time you have your fabric on the cutting board. I cut all of my fabric on the cross grain or straight of grain, even the fabric the original tutorial says should be bias. I don’t say those specific words in the video.
- Pleating tip: making a simple pleating template or jig to help make consistent pleats.
- Glue Basting tip: using washable glue or washable stick glue to glue baste the edge fabric strips used to finish the sides of the mask.
Errata: Seam allowance on the edge binding is 3/8 not 1/4 as said in video.
